Dr. Flora Lau, Dr. Gigi Lam and our two PhD candidates Pengfei Lyu and Junshen Lin attended the CPCE-SHAPE Health Conference 2025 on 5th July 2025 at Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s College of Professional and Continuing Education, Hong Kong. They presented the following research respectively:

 

Dr. Flora Lau — “Filling in the service gap of primary healthcare: Towards a culturally competent environment for ethnic minority population in Hong Kong”, funded by RGC (project No. UGC/FDS15/H04/21).

 

Dr. Gigi Lam – “How digital inclusiveness programs promote the health-related outcomes among older adults in Hong Kong”, funded by RGC IDS(CRG) (project No. UGC/IDS(C)15/H01/22).

 

Miss Junshen Lin – “Creating an Employment Green Channel for Cancer Patients in Mainland China: Exploring Policy Support and Practical Approaches”. This presentation was developed from Mr. Pengfei Lyu’s PhD research on masculinity and cancer coping strategies of young male cancer survivors in China, and was co-worked with Junshen.
