My journey began in Sociology at Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU), where I built a strong foundation in sociological principles and benefited from the innovative curriculum introduced for students admitted after 2019–2020. In my senior years, I chose the “Culture, Heritage and Innovation” stream, which perfectly matched my passion for museums. Studying Sociology at HKSYU opened a window for me to explore museums from a sociological perspective and helped me shape my future path in academia and the museum field.

 

My journey didn’t end after graduation. I later returned to the Department as a Research Assistant, where I gained deeper insights into the logistics and operations of academic research by supporting scholars in their projects. This experience prepared me well for my master’s studies. Today, I continue to enrich myself by studying Anthropology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), taking the next step in my academic journey and toward my goals.
